Whilst in London for my Barefoot Tree-athlon and World Record attempt last weekend, I found time to pop into the upside down Garden Party at The Old Shoreditch Station. Green-fingered design house, Boskke joined forces with event organisers JaguarShoes Collective to promote their very first range of illustrated Sky Planters.
Nature-inspired illustrators, Marcus Oakley and Arran Gregory have incorporated their beautiful bespoke artwork with Boskke’s innovative Sky Planters which hold and display indoor plants upside down from the ceiling. As well as freeing up surface space on desks and windowsills, the plants are kept healthier by watering and feeding watered through an ingenious porous reservoir. The soil is kept in place by a clever locking disc or ceramic collar and simple plastic mesh.
I love the concept and am planning to hang herbs upside down in the kitchen. Choose from ceramic or recycled plastic; prices start from £9.95. Visit www.boskke.com for more details.
